OVER the next month the gardens at Coughton Court will be showing an exhibition of sculptural works.
More than 250 pieces of sculpture will be on show throughout August in the Throckmorton family gardens, with work from more than 60 carefully selected national and international artists.
The pieces are displayed throughout the 25-acre gardens, and they’ve been curated and sited to complement the formal lawns around Coughton Court, as well as the rose garden, the traditional orchards, and the bog garden and riverside walk.
They’ve been created in a range of mediums from marble, wood and bronze, to water, ceramics, polystyrene and rubber. Some are figurative, while others are more abstract, and others move.
The exhibition is running from Wednesday, July 31, to Friday, September 6 from Tuesday to Sunday until the beginning of September, and then from Wednesday to Sunday.
