REDDITCH MP Karen Lumley has just asked a question to health minister Dan Poulter in Parliament about the Alex Hospital.
She said: “We are seeing in Worcestershire a review of our hospitals costing over £1million pounds, would the minister agree with me that the people of Redditch deserve to see the two options they were promised by him in Westminster Hall on February 12?”
Mr Poulter said it was a local decision and he knows that “local commissioners are bringing both options forward in a timely manner this year”.
Following her question, Mrs Lumley said: “I was delighted the Minister recognised that two options were vital to the future of the Alexandra Hospital. I look forward to seeing these options by the end of July to enable the people of Redditch to make an informed choice.”
