POLICE investigating a robbery in Redditch in which a teenager’s phone was stolen have arrested a youth.
It happened at about 5.40pm to 5.45pm on Thursday, June 27, on a footpath off Castleditch Lane.
The 18-year-old victim was grabbed from behind, dragged to the floor and restrained, while he was searched and his black Sony Experia mobile phone, worth £300, stolen.
A 15-year-old youth was arrested on suspicion of robbery on Sunday, July 14 and has been released on police bail until August 16, pending further inquiries.
