WITH Christmas Day just a few short weeks away, the Post Office has announced that Redditch Post Office branch will be opening longer during the run up to the festive season.
From now, the branch in Alcester Street will be open from 8.30am-6pm Monday to Friday and 09am-12.30pm on Saturdays. This is an extra 22 hours over the Christmas build-up.
Redditch Post Office is one of hundreds of the Post Office’s High Street branches across the UK selling Christmas cards that match this year’s Royal Mail Christmas 1st Class stamps, with 40p from each pack being donated to BBC Children in Need.
The cards feature Father Christmas with a robin perching on his hand.
Designed by best-selling children’s illustrator, Axel Scheffler, the cards will be sold in 306 branches nationwide and will be available in packs of ten at £3.99 per pack
In addition to Redditch branch opening longer for Christmas, many other Post Office branches are now open for longer. Visit postoffice.co.uk to find out more about the opening hours of other branches in the area.
