CHRISTMAS at Malvern’s Festival theatre is saved - oh yes it is, and all thanks to panto regular Mark James.

Having witnessed the devastating cancellation of the annual pantomime, the Festival’s favourite panto comedian Mark returns to the stage there with his very own one-man comedy magic show.

So this Christmas, re-live those unforgettable panto moments with an hour of magic, mind-reading, plate-spinning and family panto silliness for everyone to enjoy.

Mark said: “Where's me Mates???... I'm super excited to have been asked by the theatre to put on my one man show 'A Magical Christmas Cracker' after receiving the sad news that panto had to cancel.

“I'm hoping to bring lots of laughter, magic and panto silliness to Malvern. The spirit of Panto lives on this year and I am so touched by all the well wishes and messages from the audience that are looking forward to a fun packed show".

Mark is best known as Malvern’s regular panto funnyman. This year will be his fourth visit after playing Cinderella’s Buttons alongside Alison Hammond, Su Pollard’s side-kick Muddles in Snow White, and the loveable Wishee Washee in last year’s hit Aladdin alongside John Challis.

Mark was due to return as Smee in this year’s pantomime Peter Pan, which has sadly been postponed until Christmas 2021 due to the pandemic.
