STAGE REVIEW: Thriller - at the Festival Theatre, Malvern, from Monday, June 24 to Saturday, June 30, 2019.

WHAT a story and what a journey!

This tribute show is a special homage to the music and talents of the legendary Michael Jackson - featuring his songs and that of The Jackson Five - and is a treat that will have you in awe and pinned back in your seat by the iconic beats of some of Jackson’s best numbers.

In essence you could pick anything out of his catalogue of career spanning hits.

These included some massive hits such as Can You Feel It?, Man in the Mirror, Billie Jean, Bad and, of course, Thriller itself - and there were many more.

This two-and-a-half hour extravaganza is now on tour direct from London’s West End where it has been blasting its way through the past 10 years in spectacular fashion and shows little sign of slowing down!

It’s high energy, with athletic dancers defying description with their effervescent movement and prowess as their toned bodies gyrate seductively and suggestively…

Allied to great vocals from the likes of Nick James, Ina Seidon, Britt Quentin and others it offers cracking entertainment.

There’s a band of exceptional quality and an excellent set, but beware a host of flashing lights.

The show naturally includes Jackson’s iconic moonwalk dance routine.

This is more than one small step for mankind.

His original legendary live performances and innovative dance routines put his shows in a world of their own, and it's all faithfully reproduced in this touring show by a multi-talented troupe of singer-dancers that will have you saying you can’t ‘Beat It’ .
