SIX brave Alcester Theatre Company members posed for a nude calendar in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.
David Carvell, landlord of the Broom Hall Inn, is helping to support the risqué calendar through sponsorship.
He said: “I am very happy to support a group doing something so crazy for a good charity.”
Mr Carvell, who has also let the group use his pub and its grounds as a venue for photographs, added that he would be keeping his clothes on.
Andrew Sutton, theatre group treasurer and an actor in the production, said: “we decided that the Full Monty was the kind of event that would lend itself to raising some money for charity and we felt like a calendar was the best way to do it. Obviously we all feel a little silly but it is for a good cause.”
The performance of The Full Monty will run from Tuesday, October 7, to Saturday, October 11 at Redditch’s Palace Theatre.
Tickets costs between £11.75 to £14.75 per person. To book contact the Palace Theatre on 01527 65203.
The calendars will be available to buy for £5 on the door.
