IF the recent snow wasn’t enough, residents are being invited to another winter wonderland.

The Palace Youth Theatre is presenting CS Lewis’ fantasy adventure The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe.

Dramatised by Adrian Mitchell the play sees four children sent away to the countryside to escape the bombs of wartime London.

They find themselves plunged into a wild adventure when they are magically transported via an old wardrobe into the exciting world of Narnia.

It is not long before Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy find themselves caught up in a deadly struggle between good and evil.

The family favourite runs at the Palace Theatre from Thursday, January 31 to Saturday, February 2 starting at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.

Tickets cost £12 (£10 discount rate and £35 for a family ticket) from redditchpalacetheatre.co.uk.
