Order 2018
Order made: to make an Order to close that part
of Link Footpath F30278 Dorridge Close and Marlpit
Lane, Oak Meadow, Redditch, from its junction with
U30410 Dorridge Close for a distance of 120 metres
in a southerly direction in order to facilitate Western
Power works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no
other form of access; and to allow the works to
be undertaken.
Alternative route: – U30407 Belmont Close, Marlpit
Lane, F30270 Redditch, Weatheroak Close, U30411
Carlton Close, U30408 Great Barn Lane, U30410
Dorridge Close and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
5 days Commencing: 21 May 2018.
(Lower Cladswell Lane, Cookhill)(Temporary
Closure) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of Lower Cladswell
Lane, Cookhill from its junction with Mearse Lane
to its junction with Cladswell Lane in order to facilitate
carriageway resurfacing works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no
other form of access; and to allow the works to
be undertaken.
Alternative route: Mearse Lane, Cladswell Lane and
vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
2 days Commencing: 4 June 2018.
(C2038 Astwood Lane, Feckenham)(Temporary
Closure) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2038 Astwood
Lane, Feckenham from its junction with Rockhill Lane
for a distance of 612 metres in an easterly direction in
order to facilitate drainage works to alleviate
carriageway flooding.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be
undertaken.
Alternative route: Rockhill Lane, B40904 The Saltway,
B4092 Edgioake Lane, A441 Evesham Road, C2038
Church Road, C2038 Astwood Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
6 days Commencing: 6 June 2018.
(Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and
Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009
(Variation) Order 2018 [Revocation of Prohibition
of Waiting on Downsell Road, Redditch]
On 3 May 2018 Worcestershire County Council made
an Order the effect of which will be to revoke
prohibition of waiting at any time in order
to facilitate the installation of a zebra crossing on the
following length and side of road in Redditch:
Downsell Road (south side) from a point 13 metres
south of its junction with Springvale Road for a distance
of 31 metres in a southerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order
(which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions
of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and
will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for
certain purposes.
The Order will come into operation on 24 May 2018.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement
of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected
at Redditch Borough Council, Planning Department,
Town Hall, Walter Stranz Square, Redditch, Worcs,
B98 8AH, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester,
WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council’s powers in making the
Order or this exercise of them may be questioned
by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from
the date on which the Order was made.
