TRIALIST Ryan Gibson hit a splendid century for Worcestershire seconds as they claimed a six-wicket win over their Nottinghamshire counterparts at Stourbridge.
The former Yorkshire batsman and England under-19 international ended unbeaten on 145 from 193 balls with one six and 16 fours.
His efforts enabled Worcestershire to total 374 not out in their second innings after being asked to follow on in the Second XI Championship clash.
Gibson resumed on 75 out of 268-6 with the second new ball taken immediately at the start of the third day.
He added 46 for the eighth wicket with Steve Magoffin (17) and went to three figures off 160 deliveries with 12 boundaries.
Nottinghamshire were left a 163 target and Magoffin had first innings century-maker Chris Gibson (17) caught behind.
But Jake Libby laid the foundations for the visitors victory by making 69 off 73 balls with 10 boundaries.
