MOEEN Ali is relishing the chance to work for a second time with former Pakistan spinner Saqlain Mushtaq ahead of the five Test series in India.

The Worcestershire all-rounder and Adil Rashid first received help from Saqlain during last summer's Test with Pakistan at Old Trafford.

Now he is linking up with England for a further two week period to assist the quartet of slow bowlers in Moeen, Rashid, Gareth Batty and Zafar Ansari.

Moeen said: "Working with Saqlain was one of the best things that I have done. He focused mainly on the mental aspects of bowling.

"He didn't say much about the technical side of the game.

"Most of his advice was about tactics, field placings and the opposition batsmen. I feel he has helped my bowling a lot.

"I'm looking forward to working with him again."

Moeen finished as England's joint leading wicket-taker in Bangladesh with 11 in the two Tests - alongside Ben Stokes and ahead of the other spinners.

Saqlain said: "I'll be helping England's spinners prepare for the series in India but also giving tips to the batsmen on how to counter the Indian bowlers on their home pitches."
