WORCESTERSHIRE have recorded their first win of the season in LV= County Championship Division One after defeating Somerset by an innings and 62 runs.
The County wrapped up victory at New Road inside three days with Jack Shantry and Charlie Morris each taking four wickets as the visitors were dismissed for just 90 in their second innings.
It took Morris' match haul to nine wickets following the five he claimed as Somerset were bowled out for 250 in their first innings.
In between, Worcestershire made 402, featuring a century from Ben Cox and 95 from Joe Leach, in opening up a lead of 152 runs before today's heroics.
