REDDITCH UNITED assistant boss Carl Heggs has joined Kings Lynn as first team manager.
Heggs joined Redditch two years ago as a player and became assistant coach in the 2007-08 season.
His career started with Leicester United and he then went on to make appearances for West Brom, Bristol Rovers, Swansea, Northampton, Rushen, Chester and Carlisle.
Spells with Forest Green, Ilkeston, Tamworth and Hinckley followed before he joined Redditch.
Last season he was influential in bringing in a number of youngsters from Leicester City who impressed at The Valley.
He will start managerial life in the Northern Premier League after Kings Lynn were demoted from Conference North for 2009-10 due to their ground not being up to standard.
Meanwhile the club were tight lipped this week on rumours that star goalkeeper Danny Lewis was set to join Oxford United.
The FA met on Friday to make a decision on the league fstructures for next season.
Redditch will again play in Conference North.
