TIM Harris says recruiting more "experience and know-how" will be a priority as he looks to improve Redditch United this summer.

The Reds suffered a 2-1 defeat at St Neots last Saturday after another inconsistent showing.

The boss was frustrated with the performance but knows just what the squad is lacking as the campaign enters its final weeks.

Harris said: "It was another hard luck story really. Tom Fishwick rolled his ankle and they went one up, they then get a second and we have a header cleared off the line.

"We got back into it with a penalty and the second half was much better than the first again. We've had the chances to put them to the sword but not taken them.

"It's frustrating at the moment because we can't seem to find that winning mentality among the squad.

"We've not really been rolled over by anyone, so we're not that far away, but we know what we are lacking.

"We need to bring a little bit more know-how and experience. We've relied on a lot of loanees as well and that has to stop.

"The key now is to finish with a few wins and then build from there."

Reds are due to go to St Ive's this Thursday before welcoming Tiverton to the Trico for their final home game this Saturday (3pm kick-off).
