REDDITCH United manager Tim Harris says he'll be giving key defender Josh Ezewele all the time he needs to recover from injury.

Ezewele has been suffering with on-going hamstring troubles for a number of weeks and won't be rushed back by the boss.

Harris said: "He's an important player but we don't want to get him back until he is right.

"He's had a hamstring issue but we think we have got to the bottom of it now. It has been caused by his hip being out of line.

"We will give him the time and treatment he needs so that he can come back to see out the end of the season.

"He's still a couple of weeks away at the moment and we just need to be patient."

United were left without action again last weekend when their home clash with Royston Town was hit by heavy snowfall.

They will now go to Bishop's Stortford this Saturday.

"It's very frustrating not to be playing but hopefully the players are desperate to get going again.

"It'll help people like Nathan Fox and Lewis Wright who have had niggles but the players should be knocking the door down to be playing again.

"I've said before how important it is for us to address our away form and this will give us that chance.

"We need to be a bit more resolute and cute at times and that's what we'll work on."
