FECKENHAM boss Aaron Blackwood was able to ring the changes this week and the moves worked a treat as his side pulled off a prized 1-0 win at Droitwich Spa to climb up to seventh spot in Midland League Division Two.

Blackwood brought back Jordan Adams, Max Tibbins, Danny Murphy, Ben Welsh, Ben Ellicott, Connor Perry-Holmes and Daniel Williams who all missed the recent defeat to GNP Sports.

The Spa side should have gone in front when Haydn Morris had a shot cleared off the line by Feckenham's Ryan Edwards.

Instead it was Feckenham who went ahead when Jake Donnelly shook off the close attentions of his marker to thread a pass for Danny Murphy to slot home.

Spa came out with all guns blazing in the second half but were kept at bay by goalkeeper Josh Goddard, although Andy Crowther did hit Feckenham's post.

But once Spa's early salvo died down, chances proved at a premium. Ellicott and Murphy both went close for Feckenham while goalkeeper Goddard produced another late save to make sure Spa finished up empty-handed.

Feckenham travel to Bloxwich Town this Saturday for another Midland League match.
