Kings Langley 1, Redditch United 2

Dior Angus struck twice in five second half minutes as Redditch United bounced back from consecutive league defeats to return to winning ways at Kings Langley.

After the hosts had taken the lead through an early penalty, it proved a frustrating 70 minutes for the Reds, as they struggled to make an impression until Angus spearheaded a final quarter surge.

The striker equalised from close range, before winning, and then scoring the decisive penalty as the Reds bounced back from consecutive league defeats.

It was a result that had looked unlikely however, United going behind in the tenth minute as Orrin Pendley tangled with Mitchell Weiss, Dean Hitchcock sending Ethan Ross the wrong way from the spot.

The Reds laboured for much of the first half, Gareth Price putting a glorious chance to double the hosts' lead wide before Ross tipped Brendan Ocran's free-kick round the post.

It took until past the hour mark for Redditch to make any impression in the attacking third, but as they belatedly stirred Angus had a shot deflected wide.

Substitute Kevin Da Veiga Motariro volleyed narrowly over before the equailser came on 72 minutes, Spencer Weir-Daley getting to the byline to square for Angus to turn in from close range.

The match would then be turned on its' head as the Reds won a penalty of their own, Angus beating home keeper Ross Hampton to be ball on the edge of the box, picking himself up to convert.

Weir-Daley was twice denied a third late on, but Angus' double was enough to secure the points.
