FECKENHAM fought back from the dead to secure a stunning victory over Bewdley Town Reserves in the Worcester Junior Urn.

At one stage of the game, Feckenham were staring down the barrel of defeat at 4-1 down but sensationally struck back before going onto win the tie 5-3 on penalties.

Feckenham boss Aaron Blackwood said: "The reaction from our lads at 4-1 down was superb. We'd given ourselves a mountain to climb and one or two home truths were said at half time and clearly taken on board.

"For large parts of the second half, the players were fantastic, they rose to the challenge and were dominant."

Two goals from Umit Eminoglu with further strikes from Connor Perry-Holmes and Ben Weslh did the trick as Feckenham clawed their way to a memorable recovery against their West Midland League Division Two counterparts.

On the downside, Feckenham's 19-year-old striker George Tolley, who scored seven times last season in 16 appearences, will be forced into a period on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on a broken metatarsal which he sustained last season.
