FECKENHAM boss Aaron Blackwood completed the final piece in his jigsaw when re-signing striker Jack Brimmell ahead of their opening Midland League Division Two contest when they travel to Solihull side Hampton FC this Saturday.
Brimmell, who was last term's player of the season was snapped up following Feckenham's final friendly fixture which proved to be a 7-0 drubbing of West Midland League Premier side Dudley Town.
But Blackwood remains under no illusions of the task ahead and said: "Midland League Division Two is going to be very tough this season, with several sides throwing money at it to try and get into Step 6, which is their perogative.
"Together with assistants Tom Davies and Tony Round, we've managed to keep hold of everyone that we wanted to from last season and added some real quality personnel to accompany it.
"You try to motivate the players for friendly fixtures and they try to motivate themselves as well, but it's never really the same. Players don't want to get injured and sometimes they don't want to risk certain tackles and you can't get the most out of it. You want to start playing for points!
