TREMENDOUS Tom Coulson shook off the effects of a back injury to capture eight wickets as Feckenham pulled off a prized 64 run win over Droitwich in Worcester County League Division One.

It was Feckenham's first success since winning promotion to the top flight this season where Coulson stole the show.

The pacy left arm seamer had to bat with a runner after injuring his back early in the game and skipper Jamie Reddish revealed that it was touch and go whether Coulson would bowl at all.

Reddish claimed: "It was simply of a case of seeing how it would go - but Tom managed to play though the pain and produce a match winning spell."

Muhammed Idrees held Feckenham's batting together with a timely 61 while Danny Bloomer on 39 and Matt Henning who hit 33, offered plenty of support as Feckenham posted a target of 180 for nine.

Droitwich then collapsed against Coulson who claimed eight for 58 off 15.1 overs as the innings concluded on 116 all out.

Feckenham travel to face Worcester this Saturday.
