Redditch United 0, Kings Langley 0

Redditch picked up the point needed to guarantee their Premier League place for next season.

And the Trico Stadium stalemate ensure a first clean sheet for the Reds since Boxing Day.

There were plenty of chances throughout with the best falling to the home side as they looked to build on the 2-2 draw with Basingstoke Town last time out.

The pick of them came three minutes before the interval when good work down the left saw Zaqib Hussain slide the ball in to Luke Keen eight yards out but, with the keeper beaten, his shot was cleared off the line by Langley defender Sam Tring.

Moments earlier, Keen had just failed to get a toe on Dior Angus’ ball into the centre while Lewis Toomey just missed out for the visitors after Lee Stubbs had put in an inviting low cross.

Chances continued to be created after the break with the impressive Arjun Jung forcing a save from Langley keeper Xavi Comas before turning the rebound over the bar.

The visitors finished the stronger and Matt Bateman twice went close to breaking the deadlock.

And then, with just four minutes remaining, a corner was not dealt with and the ball fell to visiting substitute Jerry Amoo but he skied his effort over the target from from six yards.

Reds: Catlow 7, Courtney 7, Dhillon 7, JUNG 8, Brown 7, Coates 8, Mitchell 6, Benjamin 6 (Loveridge 79), Keen 6, Angus 7, Hussainn 6. Subs (not used): Bailey-Nicholls, Mahmood, Campbell, Byfield.
