ALCESTER Town included a string of new signings as they obtained a 1-1 draw with AFC Solihull in Midland League Division Three.
Player-manager Danny Janes brought in goalkeeper Richard Layton, midfield man Danny Byford and striker Matt Chambers who all made significant contributions.
Matt Chambers fired Alcester in front before half time but Solihull hit back to level 10 minutes after the interval.
Josh Moore, Danny Byford and Chambers all had chances to seal an Alcester win but was Layton who made sure the points were shared, saving when Solihull were clean through.
Alcester travel to fourth placed Shipston Excelsior this Saturday.
