STUDLEY shot themselves in the foot after they let a 2-0 half time lead slip and finally finished up losing out 3-2 against Heather St John's in Midland League Division One.

The result means Studley remain rooted in the bottom three and manager Keith Draper admitted: "I couldn't hide my disappointment.

"We were firmly in the driving seat at half time, then Heather go and score within 13 seconds of the second half and suddenly we're under pressure.

"We have to learn - and learn quickly - how to close games down."

Goals from Gareth Evans and Dan Dineen had put Studley in charge but it proved to no avail an Draper added: "When you're at the bottom and you make mistakes, you get punished for them and all three of their goals came from mistakes"

Studley have no fixture this Saturday and Draper may try and arrange a friendly game.

He has also snapped up the signing of former Cradley Town marksman Jovan Blake-Walker who has also been featuring for Pershore Town and Dudley Sports this season.
