REDDITCH United boss Darren Byfield has reinforced his ranks with a number of new signings this week.

He has enticed Jason Cowley and Cameron Young to remain after both broke into the first team last season.

Byfield has also recruited 17-year-old central defender Ricardo Dudley who has already had spells with Rushall Olympic and Continental Star.

Busy Byfield has also added Javier Roberts, who played for Hereford United before the club went bust, plus left back Jordy Sall and former Barwell player Isaac Cooper.

Byfield also expects to add former Kidderminster Harrier and Birmingham City player Reece Hales to his ranks, while Danico Johnson seems set for a return.

Byfield claimed: “I looking for a blend of youth and experience – that’s what I wanted from the start. I don’t anticipate adding many more new signings.

Reds were due to play Worcester City this week in the Worcestershire Senior Cup semi-finals. The winners will play Kidderminster, who edged out Stourbridge 1-0 on Monday, or Evesham United in the final on Saturday.
