FORMER Alcester Grammar School student Andrew Pozzi continued his fine form in the build-up to the British Championships at the end of the month with another strong showing on Saturday in the eternal city.

He backed up his personal best at Loughborough last week with a fine run in the Italian capital Rome at last night’s IAAF Diamond League event.

The 110m hurdler ran a time of 13.37, his second Olympic Qualifying mark, to earn him third place and four Diamond League points.

The British Championships, which are also the qualifiers for the Rio Games, will be held at Alexander Stadium between June 24 and 26.
