ASTWOOD Bank have eased their way through to the Worcestershire Final of this season's National Village Knockout Cup after eclipsing Kempsey by 51 runs.

Ryan Blakemore held the Bank's batting together after they were inserted to bat first.

Several Bank batsmen got themselves in but then perished before going onto make a significant score.

Blakemore proved the exception and eventually fell for 61 as the Bank reached 184 all out.

Kempsey made a sound start in reply and reached 51 without loss.

Skipper Andrzej Jagielski made the breakthrough by removing Kempsey's captain Robinson before Dan Taylor took the game by the scruff of the neck.

He went onto claim four for 15 with the ball from his nine over spell as Kempsey crumpled to 133 all out.

The Bank now visit Dumbleton on June 12.
