THERE was a host of egg-citing action as Redditch HDA hosted the Knights Pharmacy Easter Open.
The event provided competitive tennis for all ages from eight and under to through to adults as 80 teams from across Worcestershire took part.
Redditch players Joe Morris and Caleb Ravenscroft both won their age groups.
Morris won the 16-year-old and under age boys’ category, beating Simon Brenchley 6-3, 3-6 (10-4) in the final.
His club-mate Ravenscroft clinched the nine and under mixed event, beating Matthew Bevins 7-1, 7-3 in the final.
The other winners were Aidan Cassells (U-8 mixed), Anthony Agranovsky (U-10 mixed), Matthew Moloney (U-12 boys), Stuart Shannon (U-14 boys) and Ben Moore (Men’s).
The club offers opportunities for all ages and abilities to get involved in tennis.
