BETH Crumpton continues her tilt for the title at the British Cycling National Trophy Cyclo-cross Series fourth round on Sunday.

This weekend’s trip may prove pivotal for the Redditch cycling star.

With three rounds remaining, the battle for series supremacy is shaping up nicely between Hannah Payton, Crumpton and Amira Mellor.

Payton started the series in dominant fashion, winning in Southampton and Derby before a third place in Durham, leaving her 14 points ahead of Durham victor Crumpton.

Five points adrift of Crumpton is 2014-15 series champion Amira Mellor.

Crumpton heads into this weekend’s action after a being tested in round three of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup in Koksijde, Belgium on Sunday.

She finished 35th on the physically demanding and sandy course.
