STUDLEY manager Kevin Kingham hailed his team after they recorded a hard-fought 3-1 win at Atherstone in Midlands Division One last Saturday.
Goals for Daniel Dineen, Daniel Byford and Jarrell Hylton ensured the Bees were buzzing.
The Adders are well-known for making their Sheepy Road home an intimidating place to visit, but the Studley boss felt his side stood up to the challenge.
He said: “I thought my players were great, they won their battles all over the park and played some good football as well.
“Atherstone is never an easy ground to play at so this is an extra satisfying win.
“Since we lost to Coventry United in the FA Vase, I felt we have played well and improved in every match.
“We know we are not there yet but the lads stick together and are improving.”
Studley face a tough next two games in the league and cup.
In the league they entertain third-placed Leicester Road on Saturday (3pm kick-off) and then welcome Midlands Premier pacesetters Alvechurch on Tuesday night (7.45pm kick-off) in the Worcestershire Senior Urn.
