ENGINEERS maintained their good start to Studley Swan Skittles League by defeating bottom side Swingers.
Swingers found themselves down 18 pins after leg one, before salvaging a consolation point by winning leg two.
Engineers built on their advantage to run out very comfortable winners.
After a mixed start to the sea - son, last year’s runners-up Maudslay found form to beat last year’s champions Alcester Nomads.
Well Developed looked set for their second win of the season with a 21-pin lead after two legs only to squander it with low scores in the next three legs.
Opponents Chris & Gerry Show took full advantage, and, when left 59 pins to win, made it comfortably with a last leg score of 65.
