STUDLEY manager Kevin Kingham was pleased with his players’ character and com - mitment after a battling 2-2 draw against Lichfield in Midlands Division One.
The Bees had opened the scoring when Jarrell Hylton finished off a slick passing move with a fine finish.
Lichfield hit back and made it 1-1 by the break.
A fluke goal handed the Staffordshire side the lead but Studley made it 2-2 when Lewis Fathers finished well at the far post from 12 yards out.
Kingham said: “You can never question the character and commitment of the play - ers.
“They put in another very good shift and to be honest it was a good display.
“We had chances to win the game as well but just couldn’t take them.
“But Lichfield have a big budget and signed some well known players so I was happy with the draw.”
Dave Edwards is set to be a doubt for Saturday’s league trip to Atherstone.
