REDDITCH Men got the better of Oswestry 4-3 in West Midlands Division One.

The Kingfishers went 2-0 down early on but reacted impressively to draw level, with Pete Dawson and William Moss on target.

Redditch pushed on and it was veteran Daniel Waite who gave them the lead.

However, the best finish was still to come as man-of-the-match Dan Waite found himself through on goal after a brilliant long ball pass from Andy Billingham.

He showed great skill and sent a cheeky lob over the Oswestry goalkeeper to make the score 4-2.

Oswestry scored a late goal in the dying seconds of the game but Redditch got the points and remain second on goal difference to Stafford, who they play this weekend.

Meanwhile, the Ladies lost 3-1 to Bournville.
