REDDITCH enjoyed an 18-14 derby cup victory over Chaddesley Corbett.

The Kingfishers were trailing 7-3 at half-time, despite a Tom Saddington penalty.

Coach James Shotbolt made some changes at half-time and, after a good half-time talk, Redditch came out with a different approach.

Saddington crossed the line for a try, which was unconverted, and after some stoppages for some blood injuries the away side was on the score sheet again with Bryn Williams scoring an effort which was converted.

Redditch were leading 15-7 with 10 minutes to go, when Corbett pulled a score back.

But Saddington sealed the win with a penalty.
