STUDLEY boss Kevin Kingham hailed his player's spirit after a stirring 3-3 draw against Nuneaton Griff.
The Bees demonstrated their fighting qualities with a second half comeback against one of the strongest teams in Midlands Division One.
Gary Turner plundered his first goal for the club to hand Studley the lead but Griff made it 1-1 ten minutes before the break.
Griff took control of the second half and edged 2-1 ahead, only for Jarrel Hylton to levell with a neat finish from a sweeping right wing move.
But they were stunned when Daniel Harris fired the Nuneaton ahead again 30 seconds from the kick-off.
But Studley did not let their heads drop and their persistence paid off when Danny Stokes leapt between defender and keeper to meet Kiel Mullen's free-kick and head home emphatically in the 92nd minute.
Kingham said: "I thought overall it was our best performance of the season so far.
"Nuneaton have a very strong side and when they gel they will be very good.
"They dominated the game in the second half but we never gave up and got our reward.
"All I can ask is the lads to play with a smile on their faces and they are doing just that."
Studley, who are at home to Stafford on Tuesday, go to Hinckley AFC on Saturday (3pm ko) and then take on Southam at home on August 25 (7.45pm ko).
