WHITE Hart’s Thursday B team gained an important home win over The Valley in Division Three of the Heart of England League.

After two recent defeats, they bounced back with green-keeper Roger Broome leading the way, winning his tie 21-10.

They have now improved to a mid-table position.

The Friday over-60s A team suffered their first home defeat of the season against Kings Norton, going down by 18 shots despite good wins for Graham Arnott (21-7) and Ian Humphreys (21-17).

In the Yardley and District Wednesday league, White Hart moved up to third place in Division Three after another good home win over King George VI B. Captain Paul Matthews totally dominated his tie winning 21-5.

White Hart’s Warwick and Worcester Premier league team were soundly beaten by Kings Norton Ex-Sevices where their only winner was Mike Estell (21-20).
