STUDLEY maintained their excellent run of form as they made it seven wins in a row in Warwickshire League Division One with a six wicket victory over Southam.
Southam had won the toss and opted to bat first but were kept to 219-9 in their 50 overs.
Brandon Miller (3-30), Andrew Rhodes (2-64) and Owain Erskine (2-40 ) all took wickets.
Studley lost opening batsmen Steve Rose (15) and Chris Perrins (13) early on but man of the match Miller struck 111, while Simon Stamenkovic (35) also contributed as the Bees buzzed to 220-6 in reply.
Victory also lifted Studley to second in the table, just four points off leaders Knowle Village.
Rose was full of praise for Miller, who has scored 542 runs and averaged 77 each match.
He said: "Players like Brandon Miller and Stuart Harris give everyone a huge boost in confidence.
"Their presence makes everyone else subconsciously step up their game."
Frontline bowler Harris is set to return to action for Saturday's trip to third-placed Coleshill.
Rose added: "It was a gamble not to play Stuart but it paid off and he'll be ready for what is a very tough game at Coleshill, who have some very good players."
