REDDITCH Golf Club's RAGS team played Fullford Heath for the first time in their history and ran our 5-2 winners.
Of special note were performances by Norman Tillsley and Ted Keen, Cas Capewell and John Holloway pairs who won their matches.
Previously, the club had hosted the Boulton Salver for the Worcestershire Union of Golf Clubs, after winning it last year.
Once again, Redditch emerged victorious in the competition, which is played over 36 holes and awarded to the best nett pair.
The Redditch pair of Josh McMahon and James Robinson were in pole position after a sparkling two under par round of 70 gross.
The pair then scored 76 in the afternoon to take an unassailable lead.
