STUDLEY B suffered a 4-0 defeat to Wildmoor Spa Tennis League Premier defending champions Stratford.

Stratford moved level on points with leaders Evesham after a hard fought win.

Studley B's pairs Dave Douglas and Mark Wilmore and James Fitton and Chris McGregor both suffering losses at the hands of im Page with Will Morley-Cotterall and Richard Monk and Ralf Nielsen.

Studley A dropped to third place after they were held to a 2-2 draw away to bottom but one team Littleton.

Littleton's Sean Witheford and Dave Rudge (Littleton) lost to Studley pair Damian Hampton and Mark Wilmore (Studley A) 6-4, 6-7, 0-1 (6-10).

Studley second pairing Martyn Richards and Paul Farmer (Studley A) went down to Witheford and Rudge 7-6, 6-1.

Richards and Farmer then lost to Richard Herborn and Simon Blewitt (Littleton) but Hampton and Wilmore ensured it was hobours even by seeing off Littleton's second duo.

Alcester battled out a 2-2 draw against bottom side Henley, despite two wins for Tim Kenneally and Stuart Beach.

In Division One, Moreton-in-Marsh have opened up a 4 point gap at the top already with 11 points following a 4-0 victory away to Whitnash.

Inkberrow B went down 4-0 to Ardencote Manor in Division Two, while Alcester B held HD A to a 2-2.

Division Three saw Studley C move to joint top alongside Henley B and Claverdon B, Studley got the better of Alcester D 4-0, while Claverdon dropped points when they were held to a 2-2 draw by Snitterfield.

It was all change at the top of Division Four when Claverdon C knocked Bidford-on-Avon A off the top and down to joint third spot when they beat them at Bidford 4-0.

They share this lead with HDA Redditch B on 10 points apiece but with Claverdon having won slightly more games.

Redditch entertained and beat joint third placed Pershore B 3-1 leaving them on 7 points.

Inkberrow C claim fifth equal with Littleton B on five points apiece after they managed to defeat Moreton B at Moreton-in-Marsh 3-1, while Littleton B won away from home against bottom placed Chipping Campden C 4-0.

In Division Five, HDA C, Inkberrow D and Wildmoor B are all in joint second place.

Wildmoor Spa B beat bottom but one side Evesham B 4-0, HDA Redditch C defeated Moreton-in-Marsh 3-1 and Inkberrow D got the better of Bidford B 4-0.

Warwick have a ten point lead at the top after getting the better of Shipston B.
