WHITE Hart’s Sunday A opened their 2015 Northfield and District League Three campaign with what could prove to be a most valuable away win at Black Horse.
Wins for captain Stan Pritchard, Tony Sugden, Paul Matthews, Ray Richards, Sue Sugden and Ian Humphreys easily gave White Hart the lions share of the points on offer.
The Friday AM Over-60s side turned around the previous week’s defeat at the RABL with a fine victory by 13 shots, with four winners from the six-man team.
Humphreys again led the way (21-10) and was well-supported by Ray Richards (21-11), Stephen Turner (21-16) and Graham Arnott (21-20).
In the Heart of England Thursday League Division Three, the B side gained 14 pts in a home win over Moseley.
In the Saturday Warwick/Worcester League Four, White Hart went down 240-195 to title favourites Boldmere Sports and Social in an improved display.
The club will be holding an open day on Monday, May 4 between 11am and 3pm.
