IT WAS Austin Ex Apprentice’s day in the Redditch and South Warwickshire Combination League Premier Division as they maintained their title challenge with a 4-0 win over South Redditch, Andy Nicol bagged all four goals.

Fellow contenders Black Horse and Church Hill drew 1-1 through Simon Brain and Robbie Bunn respectively.

In Division One, the title race is open following Millfield Rovers thumping 5-0 away win at leaders Rocklands, with Chris Pratt's brace.

CBH Fasteners are now level on points at the top with a game in hand after their 3-2 win at Dagnell End Rovers, while SHTP kept their outside title hopes alive with a 2-0 victory over Alcester Town.

In Division Two, Sporting Club Redditch kept up their league title challenge, with an 8-0 demolition of New Woodland Cottage, Josh Farr and Shaun Field each scoring twice.

Abbeydale beat Winyates Wanderers 6-1, with Daniel Gaffney (2) and Adam Crombie (4) scoring, as they made the most of defensive hesitation and the run of the ball opening the scoring on 12 minutes and adding a second on 28 minutes.
