JOINT manager Kevin Kingham has said Studley have made him feel right at home.

The 37-year-old joined the club to take the load off manager Adrian Mander a month ago and has made an immediate impact.

Kingham comes with a bulging CV after spells as joint boss at Coventry Copsewood, Kenilworth Town and Massey Ferguson as well as general manager at Romulus.

He said: "I had only left Copsewood for a week when Adrian gave me a call.

"This is the first time I have worked with him but it's going well and the club have made me feel welcome.

"Adrian's got a lot on at work so he wants me the share the load and I am really enjoying it."

The Bees bounced back from last Tuesday's 3-1 defeat to Atherstone to beat Heather St John's 2-1 in the Midlands Football League Division One on Saturday.

Studley had been trailing to a goal just after half-time but defender Toby Checketts scored in his fourth game in a row, before substitute Matt Bailey won and converted a penalty.

"It was a funny game, the last two games had been on heavy pitches and the players were feeling the effect but in the last 15 minutes we came to life and did enough to win the game."

Studley, who play Pelsall Villa tonight, entertain Stafford Town on Saturday (3pm ko).

Next Tuesday, they take on Highgate United at home in the Birmingham Senior Cup (7.45pm ko).
