ANDREW Robinson has promised opponent Frank Buglioni a 'war' in Saturday's WBO European Super Middleweight Title clash.

The Redditch fighter faces the biggest night of his professional career at the ExCel Arena.

The 30 year old, who trains at Coops Boxing Camp in Brierly Hill, has come along way since making a relatively late move into the pro ranks two years ago but 13 straight wins have seen him rewarded with a shot at a high profile belt.

Standing in his way is London-based Buglioni, who boasts an impressive record of 14 wins and just one defeat as well as 11 knockouts.

With the vacant European title up for grabs, Robinson has trained like never before over the last ten weeks with camps in Wales and Bristol.

He said: "I've sparred with some really good guys and that has given me a lot of confidence.

"It has been ten weeks of hard graft, I have never been fitter or stronger and I plan to go the distance.

"I have never faced an opponent as tough as Frank but I promise him he's going to face a war. I refuse to lose.

"This is my chance and I intend to grasp it with both hands."

While this is Robinson's first big title shot, Buglioni had previously held the European belt but lost it when he was beaten by Ukraine's Sergey Khomitsky. But that was the only blot on the Enfield's boxer's otherwise spotless record.

Saturday's clash is an impressive fight card, topped by the WBO World Championsion eliminator between Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora.

Frankie Gavin and Chris Eubank Jr are two of the other well known fighters in action in London.

Robinson is set for the weigh in on Friday morning, before Saturday's moment of destiny.
