RUBERY Bridge survived the torrential rain which devastated the weekend’s fixtures in the Redditch and South Warwickshire Combination League to defeat Wychbold RBL 3-2.
In Division Two, OKH Sporting Dynamo continued their 100 per cent league record this time after a hard fought 2-1 success over Abbeydale.
Dale took the early lead through Daniel Gaffney, but claimed victory in the last half hour.
Sporting Club Redditch were the day’s highest scorers with Dan Sill’s hat-trick contributing to an 8-1 away day win.
On Sunday, Black Horse go on the Carlsberg FA Sunday Cup trail and visit Albion from the Hinckley and District League with an afternoon kick off.
