LEE Adams lamented Alvechurch’s lack of cutting edge after Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Kirby Muxloe in the Midlands Football League Premier.
Church paid the price after Aaron Love rifled home the winner, following a parry by keeper Stuart Parsons.
It was the Lye Meadow’s first double defeat of the season.
Adams said: “We dominated the game and had 70 per cent possession but did not create enough chances.
“We got to the byline but the final ball was not there.
“It was a close game and we paid the price for a defensive error.”
Alvechurch will be looking to bounce back at home to third-placed Coleshill Town on Saturday (3pm ko).
They then go to Shepshed Dynamo in the league on Tuesday night (7.45pm ko).
Adams added: “It will be tough against Coleshill.”
