ADRIAN Mander has vowed to fix Studley after they suffered another hammering at the hands of Southam on Saturday.

The Bees, who had went down 3-0 to the Warwickshire outfit last week, suffered even more humiliation as they slumped to an 8-0 loss in the Les James Cup.

Studley had been trailing 3-0 when Rico Taylor was sent off for reacting badly to a foul.

Things got even worse in the second half as they leaked five goals in four devastating minutes. Tunde Ajbade (3), Louis Bridges (2), Chris Bright, Calum Yeates and Andrew Yeates all scored.

It's a far cry from two weeks ago, when Studley had been unbeaten in five games and had knocked Coventry Sphinx out of the FA Vase but since then their form has taken a worrying nose dive.

Mander said: "The performance was a disgrace the first three goals all came from inside the six yard box.

"I have never experienced a result like this before and I have been on the other end.

"The defending was awful but I am going to make sure there is a big improvement, you can be sure of that.

"We're going to have to make some changes to the squad and bring in one or two lads just to make an improvement."

The Bees, who were set to play Coventry Copsewood in the Birmingham Midweek Floodlit Cup on Tuesday, resume the Midlands Football League Division One at home to Nuneaton Griff on Saturday (3pm ko).

Striker Josh McKenzie is also available after serving his three-game ban.
