ANDY Robinson has said he's ready for the biggest fight of his life after being lined-up for a shot at a European title.

The 30-year-old from Redditch will face London's Frank 'Wise Guy' Buglioni for the the vacant WBO European super-middleweight title on the big ExCel show.

But first the D'Animal must successfully come through his 13th professional fight against an as yet unnamed opponent at Wolverhampton Civic Hall on Friday October 24.

A 13th straight professional win in the Black Country will catapult Robinson to the biggest moment of his career at the ExCel Arena in London on Saturday, November 29.

The clash is on the under card of Frankie Gavin's clash with Bradley Skeete for the British and vacant Commonwealth titles.

Robinson said: "The fight in October is a warm-up match, it will be six rounds.

"It's all about sharpening me up for what is the biggest fight of my life.

"With all due respect to who I fight next I will be looking for a knockout because I have been offered the amazing chance to win a European title.

"Only three years ago I was fighting in a novice match in front of 100 spectators, now I have a shot at a title in front of 20,000 fans watched by millions worldwide."

Robinson is already working hard in preparation for this month's clash and is dividing his time between Shaun Cooper's Boxing Academy in Brierly Hill and Gavin's trainer Tom Chaney in Birmingham.

"I've got to thank my manager PJ Rowson, who has worked very hard to get me this chance," added the fighter.

"Shaun Cooper and the rest of the team have been absolutely brilliant and I couldn't have improved so much without their help.

"The defensive side of my game has improved and I feel I have stepped up to another level."

Robinson cemented his reputation as a force to be reckoned with in his previous fight, where he came through a battle with Dan Blackwell to record a hard earned points victory.
