This was the third time this season Renny has lost by the odd shot in this competition.

The highlight of the week for Alcester was in Division Six, where the B side clinched promotion with a 24-shot victory over Te Olde Knowle D.

David Hodgson produced a brilliant 21-3 win to lead the way, with Christine Anderson also excellent in a 21-9 success.
