REDDITCH Golf Club now holds all three main county trophies after a superb summer of success.

The Grinsty Lane club has retained the Droitwich Shield it won last year, members Russ Ager and Matt Vigurs have won the Boulton Salver pairs competition and the club team has won the Brandhall Gold Vase.

In the latter competition, Ben Myatt won a separate trophy for the best nett and gross score.

Meanwhile, former club secretary Willie Kerr won the Worcestershire Seniors Best Nett Trophy at the age of 68.

And the most recent individual winner is James Robinson, who won the Worcestershire County Junior Matchplay title.

Club captain Phil Guise said: “This is a great result coming off the back of a Centenary Year that saw us grow our membership and make significant improvements to the course.

“The investment is clearly paying off as the club’s results are showing.”
