ALCESTER battled out a mid-table 2-2 draw against Wildmoor Spa Premier Division rivals Evesham.
Stuart Beach and Alex Woodbridge defeated Evesham duos Simon Wall and Andrew Crowther 6-0, 7-5 and beat John Clarke and Chris Francis (Evesham) 6-1, 6-0.
But Alcester’s Duncan Robinson and Jack Newbold lost to Clarke and Francis 6-1, 6-1 and Wall and Crowther 6-0, 6-0.
Inkberrow went down 3-1 to Henley.
They got off to a good start as Matt Saunders and Jim Richardson saw off Brett Mackay and Sam Turner 5-7, 7-6, 0-1 (10-12).
But Gordon Keir and Chris Dixon lost 6-3, 6-1 to Mackay and Turner and Max Rettallack and Neil Supperstone 6-1, 6-2.
Saunders and Richardson also went down 6-2, 1-6, 1-0 (10-8) in another close finish.
In Division One, Studley A pulled four points clear at the top after beating sister side Studley B 4-0.
Division Two saw Alcester B move up to third after victories over Claverdon B (3-1) and HDA A Redditch (3-1).
Alcester C hung onto joint second in Division Four after drawing 2-2 with Littleton.
Finally in Division Five, Inkberrow C move just clear at the top on their own with 11 points after beating Bidford B 3-1.
Pershore are second a point behind as they were held to a 2-2 draw by third-placed HDA B.
Finally, the bottom two teams met resulting in Wildmoor B beating Inkberrow D 3-1.
