l Meanwhile, two extra teams are set to join the Wildmoor Spa Tennis League. Secretary Corin Bishop has announced two sides have re-joined since the annual general meeting when the league format was announced as 40 teams.

Both Alcester C in from Division Four and Wildmoor Spa B from Division Five have re-applied and been admitted back to their divisions.

This means that the league has expanded to 42 teams in six divisions, with eight teams in the Premier Division and seven in Divisions One, Two, Four and Five.

Only Division Three has six teams.

There will be three teams promoted from Divisions Four and Five at the end of the season instead of the usual two, which should leave the bottom division with six teams and space for new entrants for 2015.

The South Warwickshire Junior Summer Competition, run by the Wildmoor Spa Tennis League, gets under way this month.

The competition takes the format of five pools, which will be played on a round robin format. On Wednesday, July 2 there will be a play-off Pool night at Littletons.
